After twelve years (two online) it's time to call back my energy and create space for something new.
Initially I'll be co-anchoring a private women's circle locally with Amy Sadgrove, delving into the teachings in Jamie Sam's The 13 Original Clan Mothers. After that, I shall wait to see what unfolds. My deep gratitude to those hard core journeyers who have been with us since the beginning. In love & light, Simone 29/10/2021 0 Comments Rainbow meditationSince the global solstice meditation last December, I've been seeing loads of rainbows often in the strangest places. From opening my eyes on the night, in a dark torrential downpour, and seeing rainbow fairy lights flashing in an apartment window, to chalk rainbow drawings on footpaths and local netball courts. I've finished outdoor rainbow meditations and laughed at the impossibility of a rainbow appearing in a cloudless blue sky, then watched sunlight cast a rainbow in the spray off a wave, or had to step out of the way of twin girls charging past me in matching rainbow t-shirts. I also found this one on the kitchen floor at home. The colours of the rainbow match those of our major chakras, making meditating on rainbow energy a beautiful gentle way connect to Mother Earth. So why not put your phone on silent, get comfy and let the mother hold you in her beautiful rainbow light? Duration: 25m 05s
27/10/2021 0 Comments Opening upSpring is one of my favourite times of year when the great eucalypts begin to get naked. This year, as Sydney opens up after lockdown, it feels like I'm doing it with them. As some begin to show the first cracks in their bark, others are bursting out of their skins shaking off their previous protection as if it were now a restraint. Perhaps it's all the extra meditation that makes me content to remain in relative stillness, harnessing my inner strength before I start to break free. Like the trees each of us will do this in our own time, for no two of us are the same. For me shedding my skin will be a gradual process. Sampling the new, tasting it bit by bit, mindfully savouring each small change. There's no rush, for there is no going back. How will I know time is right? When my roots are deep in Mother Earth and I am fully connected. When energy surges through me and I can't help but push against what I've outgrown, lest it hold me captive. When I feel I am ready. As you emerge from lockdown, or winter, or any period of introspection don't be rushed or pressured. Your layers are not for others to peel, they are for you to release. Take your time, be clear on your boundaries. Pause, sit if you need to and wait. Breathe. Transformation is inevitable, but you must do it in your time. 3/10/2021 0 Comments Meditation to let goWith so much disharmony and dis-ease in society at the moment it's important for us to take the time to release the things we know we want to let go of. This meditation, recorded for the Spring equinox, is intended to do just that. Before you begin, take some time to reflect on the last cycle of your life. Be it the season, the moon, your personal cycle, a job that has come to an end, or maybe time in lockdown. Usually it will be easy to identify what it is that you want to release - feelings or behaviours that you know aren't serving you. Guilt, grief, worry, are often top of the list along with addictive behaviours like substances, negative self talk, or any type of junk binging be it food, tv or screentime. Once you're clear on that, park it while you work out what you're going to replace it with. As challenging as the time might have been, you are now here reading this which means you have come through it, drawing on your own inner strengths and qualities. Even if you had support, being able to ask for and accept help is often an achievement in itself. Ponder which qualities were or could have been most useful, such as hope, self-love or authenticity. Or consider any new behaviours that you'd like to bring in to replace something you're ditching. Then when you're ready, find yourself a quiet space where you won't be interrupted, and prepare to go within. Duration: 23m 18s
20/9/2021 2 Comments Spring EquinoxAs the season turns I look back on the times when I felt low,
To find the gifts of those experiences. What did I learn? How did I grow? I acknowledge all the lessons and guidance I received, thanking Spirit for the signs that confirmed what I believed. Then gather up the memories of what didn't go so right, And vow to let them go, to release them to the light. With gratitude for blessings that now are clear to see, I reset my intention about how I wish to be. To make decisions from the heart, to have more faith than fear, Remaining present and grounded, in the now and in the here. Authentically to walk my talk, and live fully aware. Connected to the Mother, in contemplative prayer. Sending hope, love and light to all those in need, Keeping my thoughts positive while I plant the next seed. Grateful to Creator for giving me another day, To be in balance, live in harmony, and walk the beauty way. |
